Josh Cowger is a husband, father, hunter, and the owner of Cowger Electric, a small electrical shop based in Newberg Oregon. He has 2 sons ages 8 and 10. His hobbies include hunting, Brazilian jiujitsu, coaching youth sports, and photography. He has been a self-employed for 8 years and an electrician for 16. Josh’s wife would describe him as someone who doesn’t need another hobby, but he wouldn’t always describe himself as someone who always had hobbies. Things changed for Josh in 2015, he had testicular cancer, and that gave him a perspective change. Josh was 35, he had a list of things that were interests, things that he always said he would do when he got in better shape, and had more time. Then Josh realized that he had been saying the same thing since he was 24. So, he made a change.
In this episode Josh shares about the time a cougar changed his life.
