Husband LOOKING at other women? 3 SECOND RULE!

Is looking at other women OK? You might not like my answer. But there is nuance here. Is he glancing, or gazing? As men, we are designed to be aware of and notice the world and people around us. It's part of how God made us to protect our family. This can quickly go wrong if we go from NOTICING to GAZING at women other than our bride and allowing ourselves to fall into lust. One of my podcast guests once told me he lives by the 3 second rule. That's the rule I recommend men implement in their lives. It's ok to notice, but look away as quickly as possible. 1-2 seconds is ideal. Anything more than 3 seconds is crossing the line into gazing.
